The V-Day Performance of "The Vagina Monologues"
V-Day is a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. V-Day was born in 1998 as an outgrowth of Eve Ensler's Obie-Award winning play, "The Vagina Monologues." As Eve performed the piece in small towns and large cities all around the world, she saw and heard first hand the destructive personal, social, political and economic consequences violence against women has for many nations.
"The Vagina Monologues" is a series of monologues about women's experiences. This is a funny and yet serious performance, inviting the audience into a very intimate and often untold sacred space. Audiences will be guaranteed to laugh and be inspired by human resilience and strength. There is a large cast of amazing actresses who will grace the stage.
